The village of Kastolats is not far away from everything, but that's how you can feel here. Due to the sparse population, it is quiet and peaceful here, a person coming from Tartu can reach the place in about half an hour by car.

TEEVEERE HOLIDAY HOUSE

This beautiful plot of land is a gift from my grandfather. My childhood was spent in this area, wandering in the hills and pine forests. That's why I know how soothing the pines and rich meadow vegetation surrounding Teeveere Puhkemaja are.
The house is completely open to the full sunshine. Neighbors are within sight so you don't feel too lonely, but far enough away to maintain privacy.
MILLE mini house is designed and built in Estonia. "And what?" is asked in Võromaa when you want to know 'why'?. This is one of the most important questions in life, because every detail could have at least one purpose in our life. The house has been planned and built to the nearest thousandth from the beginning, with a built-up area of less than 20 m2 and a height of less than 4 meters. It's surreal how much can actually fit on such a surface when you think about it very thoroughly: there is a fully functional kitchen, a living room with a pull-out sofa, a toilet and a shower, a double bed on the second floor (140 cm wide).
Outside there is a sauna house with a glass wall, a spacious sun terrace, a terrace island with a canopy and a fire pit. In the grill corner, you will find a high-quality ceramic grill that cooks a delicious meal even in the cold winter.

TEEVEERE HOLIDAY HOUSE

The Haljas mirror sauna with a panoramic view, which belongs to the house, won the prestigious Red Dot design award in 2022. The sauna is Huum with an electric heater, the steam of which is typical for wood heaters.

How to get here?

The village Kastolatsi is 40 km from the center of Tartu, located a few kilometers before the city of Otepää. It takes 30 minutes to get here from Tartu by car. It is about a 40-minute drive from Valga and an full hour from Viljandi.

There is also a good bus connection between Tartu and Otepää. There is a bus from Tartu to the Kastolats bus stop several times a day and it is a nice ride through beautiful South Estonia.
